You can reach your required protein intake only with food but in all seriousness, the convenience a protein powder offers is way higher than that of normal food.

You don’t have to get ready for shopping, you don’t have to go out and buy it, you don’t have to cook it, you don’t have to wash dishes after it and you surely won’t be needing more washing detergent.

Casein Protein Powder Reviews – Best Choices

I mainly use it pre-bedtime but it can be used through the day (the most important thing is to hit your macro’s). Casein protein is a very slow releasing protein and it generally provides more satiety when compared to whey protein.

My main choice and with the best taste I could find is 100% Casein Gold Standard.

I observed that when I use it in my last meal, it keeps me fuller for a longer time :)

Most vegan protein powders I see on the market are either mostly comprised on soy protein concentrate isolate or certain mixtures of vegan protein powders that don’t really create a complete amino acid profile.

Well, raw fusion which is a plant based protein powder combines pea, rice and artichoke to form a 80% protein powder.

It mixes well, it is lactose free, diary free, soy free and rich in BCAA’s and glutamine.

I wanted to do a protein powder review because I see just too many people out there that are recommending over expensive cr*p when I personally found better alternatives that are even richer in amino acids and protein concentration.

Don’t get the firm, get the quality.

Depending on what you need, these are the main protein powders I recommend based on using them and also from what others have said:

Whey protein isolate is the best protein powder because it usually contains between 85%-90% protein with little to no fat.

If you are doing weight training, people like you and me need to keep our protein intake between 1-1.5 g/lb!

These are the best choices when it comes to protein powders and believe me, I did my deal of research before I chose a good protein powder at an acceptable price.

There is nothing on the market that can get close to their protein content, nice amino acid profile and also let’s not forget: price.
